Lisa Hoffart is a Registered Psychologist and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant. Whether you are someone wanting to improve your mental health and wellness for day-to-day functioning, or an athlete training to have your best performance, Lisa can help. While all individuals experience challenges and struggles, Lisa believes that everyone has the ability to navigate these challenges in a way that prioritizes their own mental health, wellness, and performance. Lisa takes a holistic and compassionate approach to build a therapeutic foundation of openness and safety. Lisa will strive to help you understand and discover the tools and strategies to move forward, and to emphasize your existing strengths and knowledge. The goal of therapy is to promote your own mental health and wellness while also building the skills that will help you to excel in your own life.
Counselling and Performance
Lisa utilizes a holistic approach to client mental health and wellness, utilizing a collaborative and client centered care model. A variety of approaches are incorporated, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. Lisa works with clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, and stress.

Lisa also works with athletes and other high performing individuals. Lisa has worked with Olympians, Paralympians, national team athletes, varsity athletes, Canada Games athletes, and developmental and grassroots athletes. Lisa strives to help athletes and teams develop a variety of performance skills. Lisa works with both individual athletes as well as coaches and teams.
